If you have golf apparel, clubs, balls, gadgets, or just about anything else golf-related you’d like me to consider for review on Qwowi Golf, by all means send your product my way and I’d be more than happy to take a look.  It’s that simple.  Although it hasn’t come up yet, should anyone out there want me to review your multi-million dollar golf resort, I’d also be more than happy to come out and play a few rounds.

Review Pricing

Under no circumstance will I accept payment for a review.  While ad revenue does help to pay the bills, I review golf products for the love of the gear and the game.  I am an absolute equipment junkie who gets more than a little excited about new golf products.  The opportunity to test out new gear is all the compensation I need.

How Products are Chosen

Because of the volume of review requests we receive at Qwowi.com and Qwowi Golf, I can no longer guarantee that each and every product submitted will receive a complete (600+ words) review.  That said, Qwowi Golf does operate a bit differently from the rest of the Qwowi Network.  Golf is a personal passion of mine, so while not every product will be reviewed in detail, my promise to you is that each and every product received will be tested, hopefully enjoyed, and written about in our new Golf Blog section.  Occasionally a new product stirs enough interest for me to actually request the privilege of writing a review.

Review Policies

We will not guarantee a positive review, nor will we grant any sort of approval rights prior to publishing.  Since I do, however, choose to review products based on how much I enjoy using them; it is true that the majority of my golf reviews tend to have a positive tone.

Review Timing

When I agree to review a golf product, I do my best to set reasonable expectations as to when the review will be completed. Depending on the level of effort involved it may take several days, or even several weeks to complete.  Timing is particularly difficult to lock down with golf equipment since not only do I prefer to spend a reasonable amount of time with each new piece of equipment prior to writing a review, but my ability to test is often at the mercy of the weather.  I’m very much hands-on, and pride myself on my commitment to detail.  As a result my full golf reviews do tend to take a bit longer to complete.

Return Shipping Policies

For numerous reasons my preference is to not return products that are submitted for review.  I do understand, however, that for equally numerous reasons this isn’t always possible.  I’m more than happy to return your golf product if required.  My only request is that you include return packaging and a pre-paid shipping label.  While I don’t charge for reviews, I’m not in a position to pay for the privilege.  Products received without pre-paid return shipping will not be returned.

Other Consideration

I make no secret of my ability.  I am, in just about every respect, the average golfer.  While I’m capable of shooting in the low to mid 80′s on a good day, I’m also capable of posting triple digits on a bad day.  Please keep this in mind when submitting clubs for review.  As much as I’d no doubt enjoy testing out the latest and greatest for the low handicap golfer, in reality, I’m probably not your guy.  On the plus side, I’m pretty much the ideal guy to review your products designed with the average golfer in mind.
